What Happens During a Pumping Visit

• Remove the tank contents and observe the accessible interior when conditions allow.
• Ask the homeowner to run water so inlet flow can be checked.
• Look for visible concerns such as cracks, roots, or damaged and missing baffles.
• Explain the findings and discuss any practical next step.

What if the Tank Lids Are Buried?

When the lids are not accessible above ground, Advanced Septic may use an electronic transmitter or a sewer camera with a locating transmitter to trace the line and identify the tank location.

Once the location is confirmed, excavation may be needed to expose the access lids. Site conditions, access, and excavation can affect pricing.

Visible Findings We May Check During Service

When conditions allow, the team may observe accessible tank surfaces, baffles, roots, inlet flow, and signs such as excessive outlet backflow. These observations can help identify concerns that may need further attention.
